we studied alot about fossils that were millions of years old. we learned that there are many types of fossil and that some fossils are organically formed and others were formed of animal parts. We also looked at fossils that were found in layers then by aprroxamating the time the layer is from you can tell what time the fossil is from there by narrowing down the fossil owner
